A small team that knows your site

“I’ve been caring for WordPress sites since 2009. The thing I hear most from new clients is relief: they finally have someone to “send it” to. That’s what Website Care is for.”
— Jeff, Founder, Lead Geek
Most business owners don’t need a new website. They need someone to take care of the one they have: the holiday hours, the new staff photo, the broken link a customer pointed out last week. Usually that job falls to a web designer who’s busy with new projects, or to you, late at night, trying to remember how WordPress works.
Website Care hands that job to us. You send an email in plain English, and our small support team takes it from there, usually within one business day. We get to know your site over time, so you’re not re-explaining how it works every time you need something. Some months you’ll send us a lot, some months very little. Either way, someone is looking after your site.
Maintenance keeps your site safe. Website Care keeps it current.
Every WordPress site needs updates, backups, and security. That’s Website Maintenance, and it’s built into Website Care. But most businesses also have a steady list of changes: a new team member, an updated menu, this month’s blog post, a form that stopped sending emails. Website Care is for that list.

How requests work
01
Send it over.
Email us what you need, in plain English. No WordPress skills needed.
02
We handle it.
Most requests are done within one business day. If anything’s unclear, we’ll ask before we start.
03
You check it off.
We’ll confirm when it’s done.
Send requests one at a time or in a batch, whatever’s easiest.
The request rule
If it’s clear, achievable, and you can give us access, we’ll handle it.
Here’s what Website Care clients send us most often.
Keep your content current
- Publish your blog posts
- Add or remove team members
- Update hours, prices, menus, or services
- Post a holiday-hours or announcement banner
- Swap out photos and replace outdated images
- Add a new service or location page
Fix and set things up
- Fix a broken contact form or layout issue
- Add a downloadable PDF, like a menu or brochure
- Connect your forms to your email list
- Install Google Analytics or tracking codes
- Set up redirects when a page moves
- Add a new plugin or feature (small setups)
Help around your website
- Schedule your newsletter
- Update your Google Business Profile
- Point your domain to a new service
- Add team members to your website tools
Not sure if something counts? Just ask. The answer is usually yes.
What’s a separate project
Some work is bigger than a request. Redesigns, new websites, custom features, and large content projects are quoted separately, so your monthly time goes to your regular needs. If a request turns out to be bigger than expected, we’ll tell you before we start, not after.
Plus everything it takes to keep your site safe
- Same-day WordPress core updates
- Plugin and theme updates twice a week
- Daily cloud backups
- Security and uptime monitoring
- Malware cleanup if a problem comes up while you’re on the plan
- Same-day technical support
- Monthly report
- Hosting included for most small business sites
On WordPress, Website Care includes everything in Website Maintenance. On Shopify, Wix, or Squarespace, the platform handles updates and hosting, and your plan covers requests and support. See the platform section below
Your 2 hours, explained
Most content updates take us 15 to 30 minutes, so 2 hours covers several changes a month, and most Website Care clients never use it all. It’s a fair-use allotment, not a stopwatch. Your time resets each billing month. If you need more in a given month, extra time is $85/hour in 15-minute increments, and if you regularly need more, we’ll recommend a plan that fits.
| Included each month | 2 hours |
| Typical content update | 15–30 min |
| Resets | Each billing month |
| Extra time | $85/hour |
| Billed in | 15-min increments |
Website Care is a good fit if…
- Your site changes regularly: new blog posts, updating staff, additional services, events, or seasonal updates
- Your web designer has been slow to respond, or is no longer around
- Someone on your team has been “the website person” on top of their real job, and it’s getting in the way of their real job
- You’d rather send a quick email, than try to remember how you’re supposed to log into your website
It’s probably not the right fit if…
your site rarely changes (Website Maintenance may be all you need) or you’re planning a full redesign (let’s quote that as a project first).
Website Care for Shopify, Wix, and Squarespace
Same plan, same price, same team. Your 2 hours cover content changes, fixes, and tasks around your site. Your platform takes care of its own updates and hosting, so you don’t need a separate maintenance plan.
What our clients say
We love working with the support team! We get an immaculately maintained, secure website, and lightning-fast service on the periodic tweaks [that] used to take us hours or even days to figure out on our own.
Janet D., Accounting Firm Owner
Our site was riddled with issues when we tried to host and maintain it ourselves. I don’t think it has gone down once or had a single issue since you guys took it over. Thanks!
Steven P., Physical Therapy Practice Owner
We went from a horror story to happy ending. Thanks for fixing our hacked site and taking such good care of it ever since.
Erin S., Dental Practice Marketing Manager
Frequently asked questions
How do I send a request?
By email. Once you’re a client, you’ll get our support address. Describe what you need in plain English and include any files, photos, or text, and we’ll take it from there.
Do I need to know anything about WordPress?
No. Tell us what you want changed, and we’ll take care of the how.
My web designer disappeared. Can you take over?
Yes. In almost every case, all we need is admin access to your WordPress site and access to your domain. We can take it from there, even if your old designer never replies.
Can you write my blog posts, or just publish them?
We’ll format and publish the posts you send us, with images, links, and categories. Need help writing them? We offer content writing too. Just ask.
Can I send several requests at once?
Yes. Batching is often the most efficient way to use your time.
Will I work with the same people?
Your requests are handled by our small support team, who get to know your site over time.
What if a request is bigger than expected?
We’ll let you know before we start and give you options: use your monthly time, spread it across months, or quote it as a separate project.
What if I don’t use all my time?
Your 2 hours reset each billing month, and unused time doesn’t roll over. Most clients use Website Care as a steady safety net: some months they send a lot, some months very little.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Website Care is month-to-month with no contracts.
Hand off your website list.
Website Care is $199/month, month-to-month, with a team that handles your requests and keeps your site secure.
